Butterfly Valve
Industrial-grade butterfly valves for large-bore lines — quick-acting and corrosion resistant
Butterfly Valve
Butterfly valves are the preferred choice for large-bore pipeline isolation and flow control where the compact, lightweight design of ball valves becomes impractical or cost-prohibitive at larger diameters. LBow Network Solutions supplies industrial-grade butterfly valves for water treatment, HVAC, and process piping applications.
The butterfly valve disc rotates 90° within the valve body to open or close flow. The concentric (centric) disc design is suitable for low-pressure water and HVAC service, while eccentric designs are available for higher-pressure or tighter shut-off requirements. Wafer-type butterfly valves are sandwiched between flanges, making them compact and easy to install in tight spaces.
Our butterfly valves are available with different disc and seat materials to suit the application: EPDM-seated valves for water and HVAC service, NBR seats for oil-resistant applications, and PTFE seats for chemical service. Disc materials include ductile iron (epoxy coated), 316 stainless steel, and aluminium alloy.
Butterfly valves are commonly installed on cooling tower supply and return lines, chiller headers, HVAC air handling units, and large-diameter water mains — anywhere that a compact, lightweight, low-torque isolation valve is preferred over a heavy gate or ball valve.
